1940 wedding gowns
What’s a good wedding-do to wear with a birdcage veil and a 1940’s/50’s inspired, long, A-line wedding dress?

My gown is A-line, with sort of a v-neckline with thicker strapps. I want to do a birdcage veil, but I’m really just not sure what to do with my hair. I’ve seen women with their hair up and down wearing the birdcage veil, but I have a round shaped-face. Any suggestions or thoughts on what might work best?
Also, I have long– shoulder length hair.

In my opinion there is nothing more elegant than a french twist. This style would work well with a birdcage veil. Any updo really. I included some links to four different birdcage veils I make if you havent purchased one yet. Congrats! and have a blessed wedding day!
